License DrayTek WCF Silver Card SILVERCARD Color:silver

Web Filtering Licence DrayTek WCF Silver Card

The DrayTek WCF Silver Card is a licence for the Web Content Filter service on DrayTek Vigor routers. The Silver Card licence type covers the manufacturer's advanced models: Vigor3912, Vigor2962, Vigor3910, Vigor1000B and the Vigor2952, Vigor2952P and Vigor3220 series.

DrayTek has moved its filtering service from the Cyren GlobalView engine to URL Reputation, and the Silver Card licence now activates the new service on supported firmware. The licence is activated through the MyVigor portal and lets you block, allow or log access to websites by category.

Key features

• 82 website categories - The service sorts websites into 82 categories in four groups: Security, Parental Control, Productivity and General Use, so you can block social networks or gambling without typing every address.
• 10 security categories - Categories such as phishing, malware sites, botnets and spyware block access to dangerous websites for every device on the network.
• Real-time updates - The cloud database is updated every 5 minutes. The router checks the website's category and reputation with the server, and blocked users see a customisable warning page.
• Flexible policies - For each category you can choose block, pass or monitor and log, and build role-based access policies, for example by working hours.
• Activation via MyVigor - Register the router in a MyVigor account and activate the licence from the router interface under [CSM] > [Web Content Filter Profile].
