UPS EATON 5E Gen2 700 USB IEC 700VA/360W 5E700UI 700VA

UPS EATON 5E Gen2 700 USB IEC 700VA/360W

The Eaton 5E Gen2 700 USB (model 5E700UI) is a 700VA/360W line-interactive UPS with four IEC C13 outlets. It protects the computer and data from power loss, and its double-boost Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects under- and overvoltage without draining the battery.

It suits a home or office PC with a monitor, routers, NAS units, game consoles, home security and point-of-sale systems: Eaton quotes a typical backup time of about 14 minutes for one PC and about 5 minutes for two, enough to save work and shut down properly.

Via USB the UPS integrates automatically with Windows, macOS and Linux power management for safe shutdown, and Eaton UPS Companion software analyzes energy use and manages settings. It runs quietly (under 25dBA in line mode) thanks to a fanless design, the battery is permanently recharged even when off, and it offers cold start, automatic battery test and a replacement alarm.
