The Powercom Macan MRT-2000 is a double-conversion on-line UPS that delivers a clean, stable pure sine wave to your equipment with zero transfer time during a power outage. Its output power factor is 1.0, so the full 2000VA rating is also available as 2000W. It suits servers, network equipment, NAS storage and sensitive instruments.

The 2U chassis mounts in a 19-inch rack or stands as a tower on its feet, and the LCD display rotates automatically to match the installation. Inside are 6 hot-swappable 12V 7Ah batteries, and an external battery module can be added for longer backup time.

Key features

• True on-line with a 1.0 power factor - Double conversion delivers a pure sine wave with harmonic distortion of up to 2.5% at linear load and a 0 ms transfer time. The full 2000W is available to the load.
• Rack or tower - Installs in a 19-inch rack at 2U height or stands as a tower, with a graphic LCD that rotates automatically with the installation orientation.
• Wide input range and operating modes - Runs on input voltages of 120 to 276VAC at low load and 180 to 276VAC at full load without going to battery. ECO mode with more than 94% efficiency, generator mode and frequency converter mode that locks the output at 50Hz or 60Hz.
• Hot-swappable batteries - 6 sealed, maintenance-free 12V 7Ah batteries, charging to 90% in about 4 hours and replaceable without shutting down the load. An external battery module can be added, and the UPS can cold start without mains power.
• Protection and bypass - Overload, surge protection to IEC 61000-4-5 Level 3 and short circuit protection, with an automatic and manual internal bypass for maintenance.
• Management and monitoring - RS-232 and USB ports, an optional SNMP card slot and an optional EPO input for emergency shutdown. UPSMON PRO software and the mobile app provide monitoring and scheduled shutdown.
