| Revew | Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2X SpeakersThe Sound Blaster Katana V2X is a gaming soundbar with a separate subwoofer for the desktop, a console or a TV. The system has a tri-amplified five-driver design controlled by a multicore DSP, supports 5.1 virtual surround and delivers 90W RMS in total (180W peak). The subwoofer is 40% smaller than the one in the Katana V2, so the system also fits smaller rooms. It connects over USB-C, HDMI ARC, optical-in, AUX and Bluetooth 5.0, and two built-in microphones let you take calls directly through the soundbar.
Key features- Tri-amplified five-driver design - Two mid-range drivers, two tweeters and a subwoofer, each driven by its own amplifier under a multicore DSP. A double-wall chassis reduces vibrations.
- Super X-Fi and 5.1 surround - The Super X-Fi UltraDSP chip powers Super X-Fi Headphone Holography for headphones plugged into the soundbar. Over HDMI ARC and optical the system decodes Dolby Audio.
- Gaming modes - SXFI BATTLE Mode and Scout Mode help you hear the direction and distance of in-game sounds, and CrystalVoice improves voice pickup in calls.
- Wide connectivity - USB-C with up to 24-bit/96kHz audio, HDMI ARC, optical-in, AUX, Bluetooth 5.0, a headset output and SXFI-out. Works with PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and TVs.
- RGB lighting and programmable remote - RGB lighting with 16.8 million colors and ready-made effects. The remote has buttons that can store your sound mode, volume and lighting settings.
- Built-in mics and wall mounting - Dual built-in beamforming microphones for Discord and online meetings. Wall mount brackets are included.
