| Revew | DAHUA IPC-HFW5842T-ASE 8MP 3.6mm Bullet IP CameraThe DAHUA IPC-HFW5842T-ASE is a WizMind 5 bullet network camera with a large 1/1.8" 8MP CMOS sensor (3840x2160) and a fixed 3.6 mm lens. An 87° horizontal field of view and person identification up to about 10 m suit building facades, parking lots, gates, warehouses and retail areas. Four IR illuminators reach up to 80 m in total darkness, and AI-ISP technology improves image quality in low light. The WizMind AI processor runs perimeter protection with human, vehicle and animal classification, face detection with attributes, people counting, heat map, abandoned and missing object detection and video metadata at the same time. The metal housing is IP67 and IK10 rated, powered by PoE, ePoE or 12 VDC.
Key features- Full 4K resolution - A 1/1.8" sensor at 3840x2160 up to 30 fps delivers a sharp, detailed image, even when you zoom into part of a recording. Four streams and EPTZ electronic zoom.
- Night vision up to 80 m - Four IR illuminators with smart IR cover a large area at night. 0.0008 lux color sensitivity and 120 dB true WDR keep the image balanced against strong light.
- Smart perimeter protection - Tripwire, intrusion and fast moving with human, vehicle and animal classification, loitering, people gathering and parking detection, including long-distance mode and self-learning that reduces false alarms.
- Advanced analytics - Face detection with 6 attributes and 8 expressions, people counting and queue management with reports, heat map, abandoned and missing object detection, smart sound detection and video metadata for people, vehicles and non-motor vehicles.
- Fast search - AcuPick 2.0 with a Dahua recorder finds a person, vehicle or animal in live and recorded video within seconds, and Smart Search merges events into short clips.
- Durability and installation - IP67 and IK10 metal housing, PoE (802.3af), ePoE or 12 VDC power with dual power backup, Micro SD up to 1 TB and ONVIF (Profile S/G/T/M) support.
