| Revew | VIGI InSight S485 8MP 2.8mm IP CameraThe VIGI InSight S485 is a 4K (8MP) turret network camera for indoor and outdoor installation in businesses, offices and private homes. Its fixed 2.8mm lens covers a wide 111.4° horizontal field of view, and four IR LEDs plus four white LEDs allow full-color recording in the dark at up to 30 m. The camera detects and classifies people and vehicles, supports two-way audio with a built-in microphone and speaker, and records to a MicroSD card of up to 512GB. It runs on PoE or a 12V supply, its metal body is IP67 rated, and it can be managed from the VIGI app, the web interface or VIGI NVR and VMS systems.
Key features- 24/7 full-color 4K - A 1/2.7-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor at 3840x2160, an F1.6 aperture and smart white light keep the picture in color at night. In IR mode the camera switches to black and white with a range of up to 30 m.
- People and vehicle analytics - The camera tells people and vehicles apart from other motion to cut false alarms. It supports intrusion, line-crossing, region entering and exiting, loitering, abandoned or removed object, abnormal sound and scene change detection. Search by person or vehicle attributes works with VIGI software.
- Active defense and two-way audio - When an event is triggered, the camera can sound an audible warning and flash its white light. The built-in microphone and speaker let you listen and talk to people near the camera.
- Balanced image in any light - 120dB True WDR, Smart IR, 3D DNR, BLC and HLC keep details in both bright and dark areas of the same scene and reduce image noise.
- Saves storage and bandwidth - H.265+ compression reduces recording size and network load compared with H.264. Video is stored on a MicroSD card of up to 512GB (not included) or on a compatible NVR.
- Built for outdoor use - An IP67 metal body, an operating range of -30°C to 60°C and power over PoE (802.3at) on a single network cable or from a 12V DC supply.
