SteelSeries Apex 7 TKL - Red Switch

A mechanical gaming keyboard in a TKL form factor (without a numeric keypad) combining a smart OLED display for instant control, a robust chassis, and stunning per-key RGB lighting.

Built-in smart OLED display

A direct control center on the keyboard that shows profiles, settings, messages, and real-time updates—without stopping the action.

Adjust brightness, visuals, and animations, and view your game or system status at a glance—all on the built-in display.

Fast, durable mechanical switches

Linear Red switches for fast, smooth actuation, offering high responsiveness and especially quiet, comfortable keypresses.

Each switch is rigorously tested for durability of about 50 million keypresses—for consistent performance over years.

Aircraft-grade aluminum chassis

A top plate made of 5000 Series aluminum, similar to that used in the aviation industry, delivers impressive rigidity and a premium feel with every press.

Highly resistant to bending and wear—the keyboard is built to last through many games ahead.

Comfortable magnetic wrist rest

A wide wrist rest with quick magnetic attachment for perfect stability and full palm support during long gaming and typing sessions.

A soft-touch finish reduces fatigue and provides excellent ergonomics for prolonged use.

Quick media and audio control

A clickable metal roller and a dedicated button let you control volume and media playback with a single press or turn.

Adjust brightness, pause, skip, or rewind—all without leaving your game or work.

Smart cable routing channels

Three dedicated channels for precise cable management to reduce strain, tangles, and desk clutter.

Choose the cable exit that suits your setup and keep a clean, organized look.

Dynamic per-key RGB lighting

Millions of colors and diverse effects that react to typing and gameplay—fully customizable lighting.

Easy sync with other SteelSeries gear for a polished, impressive setup.

Advanced customization

With the SteelSeries Engine software you can set macros, change profiles, sync lighting, and fine-tune every parameter down to the pixel level.

Save settings to the cloud, switch easily between different game profiles, and get the most out of your gear.
