| Revew | TOA IP-A1RM IP Remote MicrophoneThe TOA IP-A1RM is a desktop paging station for IP networks that broadcasts announcements to TOA IP-A1 series receiving devices. The operator selects a single destination or a group on the display, speaks into the gooseneck microphone, and can also broadcast recorded messages, stored audio files or an external source from the AUX input. A built-in compressor keeps speech clear and free of distortion. Communication with other devices uses open protocols: SIP calls to a single point, group broadcasting via multicast and HTTP commands through an API. The unit is powered over the network cable via PoE, includes a built-in scheduler for regular broadcasts and suits schools, campuses, shopping centres, hotels and control rooms. 
Key features- LCD with 50 virtual keys - A 3-inch backlit LCD shows up to 50 virtual keys for selecting destinations and triggering actions, alongside selection keys 0 to 9 and dedicated TALK, REC and MONITOR keys.
- SIP and multicast paging - Call a single point via SIP (RFC3261) or broadcast to a group of devices via multicast, with Opus, G.711 and G.722 codecs.
- Recording and audio files - Record a message of up to 2 minutes with the microphone, check it and broadcast it as often as needed. Up to 20 WAV or MP3 files (80 MB in total) can be stored, with pre and post chimes for announcements.
- Scheduler and HTTP commands - A built-in web scheduler handles up to 2000 timed events, and 10 HTTP/HTTPS command sets (up to 20 commands each) control other devices on the network.
- Control inputs and output - 2 dry-contact control inputs, a 24 V mute input and an open-collector output for external equipment. A system mute function silences all IP-A1 devices on the network.
- PoE and low consumption - Power and data over one network cable (PoE, IEEE802.3af Class 3) with only 3.5 W consumption. A built-in 1 W monitor speaker lets the operator pre-listen to files before broadcasting.
