| Revew | Shure MV7i Smart Microphone and InterfaceThe Shure MV7i is a cardioid dynamic microphone with a built-in two-channel audio interface that connects by USB-C to a computer, tablet or smartphone. On the back is an XLR and 1/4" combo input for a second dynamic or condenser mic or an instrument, with up to 60 dB of gain and 48 V phantom power, so you can record a host and a guest or vocals and guitar without an external interface. Onboard DSP includes Voice Isolation, Real-Time Denoiser, Digital Popper Stopper, Auto Level Mode with SmartGate and adjustable reverb, and it works on both the mic and the second input. Audio is recorded at 24-bit/48kHz, a 3.5 mm headphone output provides real-time monitoring, and settings are managed in the MOTIV Mix and MOTIV apps. The all-metal body sits on an adjustable yoke.
