The HP 745 is an original photo black ink cartridge with a 300 ml volume, designed for HP DesignJet Z2600 PostScript and Z5600 PostScript large-format printers. The ink is pigment-based and suited to printing photos, canvas, backlit signs, maps and technical drawings.

The large volume reduces how often cartridges need to be replaced and suits heavy use. The ink is part of HP's 6-ink system, which also includes a chromatic red ink to widen the color gamut.
