| Revew | VIGI NVR1008H 8-Channel Network Video RecorderThe TP-Link VIGI NVR1008H is a compact network video recorder (NVR) for 8 IP cameras, suited to homes, shops, offices and small businesses. It shows a 4K picture on its HDMI output together with a VGA output, records at up to 8MP and plays back recordings from all 8 channels at once. The chassis has one SATA bay for a hard drive (drive not included), two USB 2.0 ports and RCA audio input and output. It can be managed from a local monitor with the included mouse, from a web browser, from the VIGI mobile app or from VIGI software, and ONVIF Profile S/T support lets it work with cameras from other manufacturers.
Key features- 8 channels and 4K output - Live view of 8 IP cameras with HDMI output up to 3840x2160 shown simultaneously with VGA output up to 1920x1080.
- Decoding up to 8MP - Decoding of 2 channels at 8MP, 4 at 4MP or 8 at 2MP at 25fps, with 80Mbps incoming and 60Mbps outgoing bandwidth.
- H.265+ compression - H.265+ reduces the size of recordings and the bandwidth compared with standard H.264 and H.265, so the drive holds more days of footage.
- Flexible recording and playback - Manual, scheduled or motion-triggered recording, and instant, regular, tag or event playback, with backup of recordings and video clips.
- Smart events with compatible cameras - Support for events such as motion detection, line crossing, intrusion, region entering and exiting, human and vehicle detection and abnormal sound.
- Remote access - View and manage through the VIGI app for Android and iOS, a web browser or VIGI software, with ONVIF Profile S/T and CGI support.
