The white version of the MR5 offers the same active studio monitors in a Tri-Amp configuration, in a light finish that suits a modern creator's station. With a flat frequency response and a total output of 110W RMS, they are built to reproduce every detail faithfully and to serve as a precision work tool.

Purpose

The MR5 are meant to render neutral sound - exactly what was recorded, without colouring the audio. A Tri-Amp configuration with a three-way active crossover and a dedicated acoustic architecture ensures natural sound with smooth transitions across all frequency ranges, so they fit music production, video editing and accurate listening at home.

A wide, flat frequency range from 46Hz to 40kHz keeps balance across the whole spectrum, so every creative decision rests on what is truly heard rather than artificial enhancement.

Capabilities

Each monitor runs a three-way driver array: a calibrated 5-inch woofer, a 3.75-inch midrange driver and a 1-inch tweeter. Full digital signal processing, an active crossover and DRC control round out accurate reproduction across all frequencies.

Total output is 110W RMS with loudness up to 101dB SPL at one metre, which allows work at Near-Field and Mid-Field positions and filling medium rooms. The system meets the Hi-Res Audio standard at 24-bit/96kHz, with a quality analogue front end and Class-D amplifiers that ensure faithful signal conversion.

Connectivity & compatibility

Connectivity is professional and varied: a balanced XLR input, balanced TRS, RCA and AUX alongside Bluetooth V6.0 with Multipoint. This lets you connect a studio interface, an analogue source or a mobile device to the same system as needed.

In addition, you can tune room acoustic compensation and choose sound modes through the EDIFIER ConneX app, and enjoy Hi-Res Audio Wireless with LDAC codec support for high-resolution streaming.
