| Revew | Edifier B700 Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer GreyThe Edifier B700 is a 5.1.2 home theater system made up of a soundbar and an 8-inch wireless subwoofer. It supports Dolby Atmos and combines front speakers, side-firing surround speakers and two up-firing speakers to create sound that surrounds you from above as well. Total output is 175W RMS, enough for a room of about 50 m². A single HDMI cable with eARC connects it to the TV, and there is also an HDMI 2.1 input with 4K HDR and Dolby Vision passthrough, plus optical, coaxial, AUX and Bluetooth 5.0.
Key features- 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos - Front speakers, side-beam surround speakers and two angled up-firing speakers create a three-dimensional sound field for movies, series and games.
- 8-inch wireless subwoofer - The 70W subwoofer links wirelessly at 5.8GHz with strong interference resistance, so you can place it anywhere in the room without cables.
- HDMI 2.1 and eARC - One HDMI cable to the TV with eARC carries uncompressed Dolby Atmos. An extra HDMI input passes 4K HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision from a streamer, set-top box or Blu-ray player.
- 175W RMS for a large room - A total of 175W RMS suits a room of about 50 m², with several sound modes for movies, music and games.
- Rich connectivity - Optical, coaxial and AUX inputs alongside Bluetooth 5.0 let you connect several sources at the same time.
- Remote and flexible placement - A compact remote controls power, volume, input and sound modes. Place the soundbar under the TV or mount it on the wall with the standard wall-mount bracket.
