| Revew | ATEN MicLIVE UC8000 6-CH Podcast AI Audio MixerThe ATEN MicLIVE 6-CH (UC8000) is a compact audio mixer for podcasts, live streams and recordings that combines 6 input channels, a DSP and AD/DA converters in one box. It connects to a computer or tablet over USB-C, draws power from it and adds audio of up to 24-bit/96kHz. ATEN calls it the industry's first AI-optimized audio mixer: Smart-EQ improves the microphone sound in real time. 8 color-coded jingle pads, 24 voice effects and auto ducking let one user run a professional broadcast, and the OnAir Audio software for Windows and Mac gives control over every parameter.
Key features- AI Smart-EQ - A smart EQ trained with machine learning improves voice recordings in one click, so even an entry-level microphone sounds closer to a studio one.
- Inputs for mics and instruments - 2 XLR or 6.3 mm combo inputs with a preamp and 48V phantom power for condenser mics, a 3.5 mm TRRS input for a phone and USB audio input from the computer.
- 8 jingle pads - Eight color-coded pads store sound samples that can be recorded from any mixer input or assigned from the computer and triggered in real time.
- Voice FX - 24 voice effect programs: 6 reverb, 6 pitch and 12 gender effects, with a knob to adjust the effect.
- Auto ducking and audio routing - Auto ducking lowers background music whenever someone speaks, and multichannel routing sends any source to any of the outputs.
- Portable, two headphone outputs - The mixer runs on USB 5V bus power and can also be powered from a power bank. 2 headphone outputs with separate volume controls allow two-person monitoring.
