| Revew | Elgato Stream Deck Studio Broadcast Control SurfaceThe Elgato Stream Deck Studio is a professional control surface for live production and broadcast systems, developed together with Bitfocus. It has 32 keys, each with its own full-color LCD, two 360° dials with push function and an LED ring, and an NFC reader for user authentication. It connects to the network over Ethernet with PoE+ power or to a computer over USB-C, and ships with brackets for a standard 19-inch rack. It runs with Bitfocus Buttons (subscription required) or Bitfocus Companion, which connect to hundreds of devices from leading broadcast vendors.
Key features- 32 LCD keys and 2 dials - Every key is a full-color TFT LCD that shows the icon, image or text of your choice. Both dials turn 360°, offer a push function, an LED indicator and an LED ring, and let you fine-tune levels and parameters with visual feedback.
- PoE+ network or USB-C connection - Connect over IP through the 100Mb/s RJ45 port with 802.3at PoE+ power, or through the rear USB-C port. Without PoE+, power it from a USB-C PD 3.0 supply of at least 9 V/3 A, sold separately.
- Made for 19-inch racks - The 447 mm wide, 44 mm high unit comes with rack brackets and screws for standard 19-inch racks, so it fits straight into a control room, an OB truck or a production desk.
- Bitfocus Buttons and Companion - Buttons adds tag-based crosspoint routing, SNMP network and equipment monitoring, NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 for IP broadcasting, tally and GPIO management, a rich API and support for all Companion connections. Processing runs in the software, so the unit itself needs no onboard processor.
- NFC user access - A quick NFC scan identifies the operator and loads their profile, so each crew member sees only the controls they need while critical functions stay protected.
- Expand as you grow - The front USB-C port accepts any bus-powered Stream Deck, from Stream Deck Mini to XL and Stream Deck +, for extra keys. With Buttons, several Stream Deck Studio units can also work together as one larger control surface.
