LG Magic Remote MR22GN NFC 2022 TV Remote Control

The LG Magic Remote MR22GN is a genuine remote for LG TVs from the 2022 lineup. This version is white (LG part AKB76042301), and according to H.Y. Group, LG's official importer in Israel, it matches the 42LX1Q6LA, 48LX1Q6LA and 55LX1Q6LA models. Moving the remote moves a pointer on the screen, so you select apps and menus by pointing and clicking like a mouse, and the OK wheel scrolls through lists.

It has a number keypad, a microphone button for voice control, direct buttons for streaming services and an NFC tag: tap a supported phone on the remote to share its screen on the TV (Magic Tap). It runs on two AA batteries.

Key features

• Point by hand motion - The on-screen pointer follows the remote, so you select items by pointing and clicking instead of arrow keys, including drag and drop.
• OK wheel - A wheel for fast scrolling through lists and web pages that also works as the confirm button.
• Voice control - A microphone button for search and voice commands. Voice service availability depends on the TV model and country.
• NFC and Magic Tap - Tapping a supported smartphone on the remote shares phone content on the TV and links it to mobile apps.
• Direct buttons - Dedicated Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ buttons, color buttons and a number keypad.
