Advice AB12075 12V 7.5Ah UPS Battery
The Advice AB12075 is a sealed valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery with AGM technology, rated 12V and 7.5Ah at the 20-hour rate. The electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fiber separators, so the battery is sealed, leak-proof, needs no water and can be installed in any orientation.
With the standard 151 x 65 x 94 mm size and F1 terminals, it is used as a replacement battery for small UPS units such as the Advice AIN650, as well as for security, control and communication systems. The design life is 5 years in float service.
Key features
- Maintenance-free AGM - Up to 99% gas recombination inside the battery means no water adding or electrolyte maintenance. A one-way valve releases excess pressure in case of overcharge.
- Sealed, any-position mounting - The sealed construction prevents leaks and allows mounting at any angle inside a UPS or alarm system enclosure.
- 7.5Ah capacity - 7.5Ah at the 20-hour rate and 5.47Ah at the 1-hour rate. A maximum discharge current of 115A for 5 seconds handles UPS peak loads.
- Low self-discharge - About 3% of capacity per month at 20°C, so the battery holds its charge in storage and in backup systems that rarely discharge.
- Standard size and terminals - 151 x 65 x 94 mm (100 mm with terminals) and 0.187 inch F1 terminals, like most 12V 7Ah batteries.
- Air transport approved - UL-recognized component that complies with IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67, so it is not restricted for air transport.
