Desktop Memory DRAM Sk Hynix HMT451U6BFR8A-PB

The SK hynix HMT451U6BFR8A-PB is a 4GB unbuffered DIMM memory module built with SK hynix DDR3L SDRAM devices. According to the label on the module it runs at DDR3L-1600 (PC3L-12800U) with CL11 timings in a single-rank 1Rx8 configuration, on a blue PCB. It is used and has been tested in our lab.

This is memory for desktops, office PCs and workstations with DDR3L or DDR3 DIMM slots. It suits a memory upgrade, for example adding 4GB to a PC with 4GB installed to get 8GB in dual channel, or replacing a failed module in a brand-name PC. Before buying, check that your motherboard supports DDR3L or DDR3.

The 1.35V operating voltage saves power and heat compared with standard 1.5V DDR3, and according to SK hynix its unbuffered DDR3L modules are backward compatible with 1.5V DDR3 systems. The module has 8 internal banks and 8-bit prefetch.
