SODIMM Memory Sk Hynix HMT351S6CFR8C-H9

The SK hynix HMT351S6CFR8C-H9 is a 4GB unbuffered SO-DIMM built with 16 SK hynix 2Gb DDR3 chips (C-die, H5TQ2G83CFR) in two ranks. Speed code H9 means DDR3-1333 with 9-9-9 timings, to the PC3-10600S standard. The module is used and has been tested in our lab.

SK hynix designed these modules as main memory for mobile PCs. It suits replacing a failed module or upgrading the memory of a laptop, mini PC or all-in-one with a DDR3 SO-DIMM slot, for example adding 4GB to a laptop with 4GB installed to get 8GB in dual channel.

The module runs at the standard DDR3 voltage of 1.5V and has 8 internal banks, 8-bit prefetch and On Die Termination. It is RoHS compliant.

• DDR3-1333 with CL9 - SK hynix speed code H9 means DDR3-1333 (PC3-10600S) with 9-9-9 timings, a common speed in DDR3 laptops.
• 4GB in two ranks - 512Mx64 organization with 16 chips of 256Mx8 (H5TQ2G83CFR) in two ranks, the 2Rx8 layout also shown on the module label.
• 1.5V - VDD and VDDQ of 1.5V ± 0.075V, the standard DDR3 voltage supported by every computer with DDR3 SO-DIMM slots.
• SO-DIMM for laptops - An unbuffered Small Outline module, 67.6 mm long and 30 mm high, intended as main memory in laptops.
• Full DDR3 feature set - 8 internal banks, 8-bit prefetch, Burst Length 8 or Burst Chop 4 with on-the-fly switching, bi-directional differential data strobe and On Die Termination.
