The Gigabyte B760 GAMING X DDR4 GEN5 is an ATX motherboard (30.5x24.4 cm) with the Intel B760 chipset and LGA1700 socket, supporting 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors as well as Pentium Gold and Celeron. In the GEN5 version the CPU-connected graphics slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x16, while all three M.2 slots run at PCIe 4.0 x4.

It suits anyone building a gaming or work PC on the Intel platform who wants to keep using DDR4 memory: four dual-channel DIMM slots take up to 128GB, with XMP profiles up to DDR4-5333 (O.C.). Realtek 2.5GbE networking, an internal 10Gb/s USB-C header for the front panel, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.2 outputs for integrated graphics and 7.1-channel audio round out the feature set.

• PCIe 5.0 x16 with PCIe EZ-Latch - The PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is wired directly to the CPU and doubles the PCIe 4.0 transfer rate from 16 GT/s to 32 GT/s per lane, which benefits fast graphics cards and storage. The PCIe EZ-Latch releases the graphics card easily when you remove it.

• VRM Thermal Armor Advanced and M.2 Thermal Guard - A true one-piece MOSFET heatsink with up to 4x the surface area of traditional heatsinks, Multi-Cut airflow channels and a 5 W/mK thermal pad. The M.2 Thermal Guard dissipates SSD heat to prevent throttling under load.
• Dual-channel DDR4 with XMP - Four DDR4 slots for up to 128GB (32GB per module) with XMP profile support up to 5333 MT/s (O.C.). Memory routing runs in an inner PCB layer under a large ground layer (Shielded Memory Routing) to protect against interference.
