Bluetooth Adapter TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth Nano USB Adapter

The TP-Link UB500 is a nano-size Bluetooth adapter (14.8 x 6.8 x 18.9 mm) that plugs into a USB-A port and adds Bluetooth to desktops and laptops that lack it, or replaces a built-in Bluetooth module that no longer works.

It connects headphones, speakers, keyboards, mice, game controllers, phones and printers, up to 7 devices at the same time, and transfers files, music and video between the PC and your devices. Bluetooth Low Energy keeps the connection power-efficient.

Current UB500 versions are based on Bluetooth 5.3 (hardware version V2) or Bluetooth 5.4 (V3), backward compatible with Bluetooth 5.x and 4.0 devices. The hardware version is printed on the box and the adapter. Setup is simple on Windows 10 and 11; Windows 7 needs the driver from the TP-Link website.

Key features

• Nano design - plug in and forget - The adapter is ultra-small and barely sticks out of the port, so it can stay plugged in permanently, even in a laptop carried in a bag.
• Up to 7 devices at once - Connect headphones, keyboard, mouse, controller and speaker at the same time, and transfer files, music and video between the PC and devices.

• Bluetooth Low Energy - BLE technology provides energy-saving wireless connections to supported devices.
• Range and stability - Longer transmission range than older Bluetooth generations, so you can enjoy music on your headset away from the computer.

• Windows compatibility - Supports Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (Windows 7 needs the driver from the TP-Link website).
