Gold Touch USB2.0 TO SATA / IDE Adapter

The Gold Touch E-USB-SATA-IDE is a converter that connects an internal hard drive or optical drive directly to a computer's USB port. It supports both the older IDE interface and SATA, which makes it especially useful for recovering data from old drives and for testing drives.

It works with 1.8, 2.5 and 3.5 inch IDE drives, 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA drives and 5.25 inch CD/DVD drives. An external power adapter is included for running larger drives.

Key features

• IDE and SATA in one converter - Connect 1.8, 2.5 and 3.5 inch IDE drives, 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA drives and 5.25 inch IDE or SATA optical drives.
• USB 2.0 at 480Mbps - Data transfer at up to 480Mbps, with support for drives up to 2TB.
• Plug and play - Hot swap support without rebooting the computer. Works with Windows PCs and Macs with a USB 2.0 port.
