D-Link 16-Port PS2/USB Combo KVM Switch

The D-Link KVM-450 is a KVM switch that lets you control 16 computers or servers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is designed for small and medium server rooms and works with both PS/2 and USB servers through 4-in-1 combo KVM cables.

You switch computers with the front panel buttons, hotkeys on a PS/2 keyboard or the OSD menu, where each computer can be given a name. Switches can be cascaded up to three levels deep to control up to 4096 computers from one console, and the metal chassis mounts in a standard 19-inch rack.

• Cascade up to 4096 computers - Switches can be daisy-chained up to three levels deep, and cascaded units configure themselves automatically.
• Password protection - Set an administrator and up to three users with passwords, with Administrator, User and Viewer access levels to block unauthorized access.
• Hot-plug and rack mounting - Add or remove computers without turning them off, and mount the metal chassis in a 19-inch rack at 1U.
