| Revew | ATEN KL1116VN 16-Port Cat 5 Dual Rail 19" LCD KVM over IP SwitchThe ATEN KL1116VN is a rack KVM switch that combines a 19" LED-backlit LCD monitor, keyboard and touchpad in a dual rail drawer that fits in about 1U. The monitor and keyboard slide out independently, and the switch lets you manage up to 16 servers or computers locally as well as remotely over the network from a web browser. Servers connect to the RJ-45 ports over Cat 5e/6 cabling through ATEN KVM adapter cables (sold separately) that support USB, PS/2, Sun and RS-232. The switch has two Gigabit NICs, a modem port for access when the network is down, virtual media and enterprise-grade security. 
Key features- 19" dual rail LCD - LED-backlit monitor at 1280 x 1024 at 75Hz that tilts up to 120 degrees and slides out separately from the keyboard and touchpad. An LED light illuminates the keyboard in low light.
- 16 computers, up to 256 cascaded - 16 RJ-45 ports for Cat 5e/6 cabling, and control of up to 256 computers when cascaded with compatible ATEN KVM switches.
- Remote access over IP - One local and one remote user at the same time, with browser access through the HTML5 WebClient without Java, at up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz.
- Virtual media and Panel Array - Map USB drives, DVD/CD drives, hard drives and ISO images to a remote server for installations and updates, and view all ports in a grid with Panel Array Mode.
- Availability when things fail - Two 10/100/1000 Mbps NICs for redundant LAN or dual IP, and a modem port for BIOS-level out-of-band access when the network is down.
- Security and management - TLS 1.3, an embedded FIPS 140-2 certified cryptographic module, RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory authentication, up to 64 user accounts and integration with ATEN CC2000 and CCVSR software.
