| Revew | NVIDIA GeForce GTX SLI HB Bridge 4-SlotThe NVIDIA GeForce GTX SLI HB Bridge links two GeForce GTX graphics cards in a 2-way SLI setup. It connects to both SLI connectors on each card at once, and with Pascal-generation cards such as the GeForce GTX 1080 the SLI interface runs at 650MHz instead of the 400MHz of earlier bridges. This version has 4-slot spacing, for motherboards where the two graphics card slots are further apart. NVIDIA recommends the HB bridge for high resolutions and refresh rates, including 2560x1440 at 120Hz and above, 4K, 5K and NVIDIA Surround.
Key features- Both SLI connectors in use - The bridge connects to both SLI connectors on each graphics card instead of only one as with a standard bridge. This doubles the transfer bandwidth between the cards compared to the Maxwell generation.
- 650MHz SLI interface - With an SLI HB bridge the GeForce GTX 1080 runs the combined SLI interface at 650MHz, compared to 400MHz on previous-generation GPUs and bridges.
- Built for high resolutions - NVIDIA recommends the HB bridge for gaming at 2560x1440 at 120Hz and above, 4K, 5K and NVIDIA Surround, where the extra bandwidth helps deliver smoother gameplay.
- 4-slot spacing - Fits motherboards where the second graphics card sits four slots below the first. NVIDIA also offers the HB bridge with 2-slot and 3-slot spacing.
- 2-way SLI - The bridge links two cards. GeForce GTX 1080 and TITAN X (Pascal) cards support 2-way SLI with the SLI HB bridge.
