D-Link 10G Direct Attach SFP+ Stacking Cable 100CM

The D-Link DEM-CB100S is a passive twinax Direct Attach Cable (DAC) with SFP+ connectors built into both ends, for short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. It connects switches to each other, or a switch to a server, within the same rack or between adjacent racks.

Because the SFP+ connectors are part of the cable, there is no need for SFP+ transceivers and a separate fiber cable, which makes it a cost-effective choice for short links. According to D-Link, it offers lower latency and power consumption than 10GBASE-T over CAT6/CAT6A or 10GBASE-CX4.
