| Revew | ATEN VE7832A True 4K 20m Active Optical HDMI CableThe ATEN VE7832A is a 20-meter active optical HDMI cable (AOC) that converts the signal to light and carries it over optical fiber. This lets it deliver True 4K video at 4096 x 2160, 60Hz and 4:4:4 chroma over the full distance, at data rates of up to 18Gbps and without sensitivity to EMI and RFI. The cable supports HDR, HDCP 2.2, HEC and ARC, as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The gold-plated HDMI connectors detach from the ends so the cable is easy to pull through conduit, and the UL Plenum (CMP-OF) jacket suits installation in ceilings and air-handling spaces. It is a good fit for digital signage, control rooms, hospitals, schools and venues.
Key features- True 4K up to 20 m - 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, up to 18Gbps and a 600MHz pixel clock.
- Interference resistant - Optical transmission reduces EMI and RFI and keeps the signal clean even next to electrical equipment.
- HDR, HEC and ARC - HDR and HDCP 2.2 support, HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) and Audio Return Channel (ARC) for TV and sound system setups.
- Pluggable connectors for pulling - The detachable HDMI Type-A connectors expose a slim Type-D connector, making the cable easy to run through conduit. A wiring tool is included.
- Professional build - OM3 fibers and copper wires, zinc-alloy connector cases, up to 10 kg pull strength and up to 50 kg compression load resistance.
- Extra power when needed - A Micro USB to USB cable provides additional 5V power for better compatibility with sources that supply too little.
