Gold Touch USB3.0 Active Extension Cable 20m

The Gold Touch CH-USB3-20EX-IC is a 20 meter active USB 3.0 extension cable. Active chipsets along the cable boost the signal, so a USB 3.0 device can run far from its source at up to 5Gbps without signal loss.

The cable is plug and play and normally needs no power supply. For devices that draw more current it has a DC port for extra power. It suits cameras, external drives, controllers and stations located in another room or on a ceiling.

Key features

• 20 m at USB 3.0 - A 20 m run at up to 5Gbps lets you place a USB camera, drive or controller far from the host without dropping to USB 2.0 speed.
• Active chipsets - Three active chipsets boost the signal along the cable for stable data transfer without signal loss.
• No power needed - In most uses the cable is powered by the USB port itself. An additional DC port is there when the device needs extra power.
• Plug and play - No software to install. Plug the male end into the computer and the device into the female end.
