| Revew | Samsung Odyssey G8 32" QD-OLED 4K UHD 240Hz Gaming MonitorThis 32-inch Odyssey G8 variant with a QD-OLED panel is aimed at players who refuse to compromise on in-game image quality. High pixel density, accurate colour and a 240Hz refresh rate combine for an experience that is both crisp and fast, even in competitive genres. Picture & displayThe 32" QD-OLED panel at a 4K UHD resolution of 3840×2160 reaches a very high density of around 166PPI, so every scene looks detailed and almost lifelike. Each pixel emits its own light and switches off individually, achieving deep blacks with a 1:1M contrast ratio and 260 cd/m² brightness. The VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 standard brings dark scenes to life with blacks free of colour bleed and deepens the contrast.
A dedicated OLED anti-reflection coating returns roughly 54% less light than ordinary surfaces and preserves colour accuracy even under strong lighting, keeping the content clear.
PerformanceA 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms (GtG) response time enable smooth motion and a sharp image even in intense firefights. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro synchronises the graphics card with the panel and reduces stutter, lag and screen tearing, so you stay ready for the most demanding moments.
A dynamic cooling system with a Pulsating Heat Pipe spreads heat up to five times faster than graphite sheets, lowering the temperature and helping to prevent burn-in over time.
Connectivity & ergonomicsConnectivity covers HDMI, DisplayPort, USB and a headphone output, and a Picture-By-Picture mode lets you show two sources side by side on the same screen. The ergonomic stand supports tilt, swivel, height adjustment and pivot, and the VESA 100×100 standard allows arm or wall mounting.
Flicker Free and eye-protection technologies help reduce strain during long sessions, and the sleek metallic finish adds a personal touch to a gaming setup.
