Power Supply Corsair RM850x SHIFT Fully Modular CP-9020299-EU Full Modular 80 Plus Gold 850W

Corsair RM850x SHIFT 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

The Corsair RM850x SHIFT rethinks one detail that changes the whole build: every modular socket sits on the side of the unit instead of the rear. The result pairs a steady 850-watt, 80 PLUS Gold supply with cable routing that fits naturally into contemporary cases that expose the side of the PSU.

Power & efficiency

This unit delivers 850 watts at the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency level, so a large share of the incoming power actually reaches your components while less is lost as heat. That output leaves comfortable headroom for a demanding gaming or workstation build with a power-hungry CPU and graphics card, plus room to grow when you upgrade later.

Cables & connectors

A patented panel places the compact, modular Type-5 connectors along the side of the supply, which makes plugging in and tidying the wiring far simpler. The PSU is fully modular and ships with a dedicated 12V-2x6 GPU cable that meets ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1, ready for the latest graphics cards.

Reliability & cooling

Inside, the unit relies on 100% Japanese capacitors rated to 105°C that support stability and a long service life. A dedicated switch lets you control fan speed, and a Zero RPM mode keeps the fan all but motionless at low loads for very quiet running.
