ASRock Ultra Quad M.2 Card Expansion Card

The ASRock Ultra Quad M.2 Card is a PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion card that holds up to four NVMe M.2 SSDs, each on its own PCIe Gen3 x4 link at up to 32Gb/s. It supports 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 drives.

The drives are cooled by an aluminum cover with thermal pads and a 5 cm fan whose speed is set by a switch on the card. On the Intel X299 platform you can build a VROC RAID array, and on AMD X399 a bootable RAID array with up to four drives. The motherboard must support splitting the x16 slot into four x4 links, and ASRock publishes a list of supported boards.
