Gigabyte B850M AORUS ELITE WiFi6E Motherboard - AM5, Micro ATX

Gigabyte's B850M AORUS ELITE packs the B850 chipset into a compact Micro ATX layout, making it a strong fit for AM5 builds running Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It blends a robust power stage, fast storage and modern networking inside a manageable board size.

Platform & chipset

The board is built around the AMD AM5 socket paired with the B850 chipset and supports Ryzen processors across the 7000, 8000 and 9000 generations. A digital 12+2+2 phase VRM keeps power delivery steady even with high core-count chips, while the X3D Turbo Mode is geared toward unlocking current-generation gaming performance.

Memory & expansion

Four DIMM slots handle dual-channel DDR5 with AMD EXPO profiles, and the manufacturer notes very high memory frequencies are reachable through overclocking. Storage is covered by two M.2 slots, one of them a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface for a fast NVMe drive, alongside a reinforced PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics slot with the screwless EZ-Latch Plus quick-release mechanism.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Thermal hardware includes VRM Thermal Armor Advanced and an extended M.2 Thermal Guard for efficient heat spreading. Networking combines a 2.5GbE wired LAN with Wi-Fi 6E and a high-gain directional antenna. The I/O offers USB 2.0, USB 3.2 and USB Type-C ports plus HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for display connectivity.
