The board's core is the AMD AM5 socket with the B840 chipset, supporting Ryzen processors from the 7000, 8000 and 9000 generations. A digital 8+2+2 phase power design provides a stable base under load, and X3D Turbo Mode is intended to maximize the gaming experience on the current generation.

Memory & expansion

Memory is handled through four DIMM slots in a dual-channel DDR5 arrangement with AMD EXPO profiles, and the specs indicate very high frequencies are achievable through tuning.
