The X870E EAGLE WiFi7 is a full-size ATX board on the AMD X870E chipset, made for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors on the AM5 socket. It combines strong power delivery, fast storage and next-generation network connectivity.

Platform & chipset

The board is built on the X870E chipset with the AM5 socket and supports the current Ryzen processor family. A twin digital 16+2+2 phase power arrangement provides a stable voltage base, and EZ-Latch Plus simplifies screwless installation of the PCIe and M.2 slots.

Memory & expansion

Four dual-channel DIMM slots take DDR5 memory with AMD EXPO module support. Storage spans four M.2 slots, including one on PCIe 5.0 x4, while the graphics card gets a reinforced PCIe UD slot. The thermal layout adds VRM Thermal Armor Advanced and an M.2 Thermal Guard for improved heat spread.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Connectivity is led by 5GbE wired LAN alongside Wi-Fi 7 wireless with a directional ultra-high-gain antenna, plus a pair of USB4 Type-C ports with DP-Alt support and an HDMI output. WIFI EZ-Plug simplifies antenna installation, and onboard audio uses the Realtek ALC1220 codec with high-quality capacitors.
