MAXSUN iCraft B850 AIGA Motherboard - AM5, ATX

The MAXSUN iCraft B850 AIGA is a show-piece ATX board on the B850 chipset, aimed at AM5 builds with Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It blends a strong power stage, DDR5 memory with high overclocking headroom and a distinctive lighting design inspired by the AIGA character.

Platform & chipset

The board is based on the AMD AM5 socket and the B850 chipset, supporting Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors plus compatible future generations. A 16+2+1 phase power design with 50A Dr.MOS delivers steady core voltage even for demanding CPUs. Configuration is handled through a BIOS with the easy-to-use PTM UI interface.

Memory & expansion

Four DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR5, and the manufacturer states overclocking can reach frequencies of 8400 MHz and beyond. The board features built-in PCIe 5.0 lane bifurcation with a pair of Gen 5 PCIe x16 slots and a Smart Split mode of PCIe 5.0 x8 + x8, alongside four full-speed M.2 slots for extensive NVMe storage.

Power, cooling & connectivity

The front of the board carries a large M.2 heatsink with the AIGA character design, and the rear side also incorporates series-inspired elements. Skylight RGB lighting creates a dynamic visual effect and is supported by custom control through MAXSUN Sync. On the connectivity side there is a 5G network link alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 compatibility, plus front and rear Type-C ports for data transfer.
