The MAXSUN Challenger B860M-K is a Micro ATX board for Intel's newer LGA1851 platform. Aimed at builders assembling a current Core Ultra system with DDR5 memory and high capacity, it offers an orderly, balanced base for a modern desktop.

Platform & chipset

The board is based on the Intel B860 chipset in the LGA1851 socket and supports Intel Core Ultra processors. At 235x215 mm it keeps a compact profile in the Micro ATX form factor, which suits a wide range of cases and builds.

Memory & expansion

Two DIMM slots support DDR5 memory up to 96GB, with XMP profile support at frequencies reaching 8000MHz in an overclocked state. This lets you assemble a fast, large memory kit suited both to demanding applications and to everyday multitasking work.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Power delivery is built as a 6+1+1 phase design with 50A Dr.MOS components for steady processor supply. For display there is an HDMI output supporting 4K at 60Hz and a DisplayPort 1.2 output supporting 4K at 60Hz. Networking is based on a REALTEK RTL8111M Gigabit chip, and connectivity includes USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports plus combined M.2 PCIe and SATA3 storage.
