The MAXSUN Terminator Z890-A is a full ATX board measuring 305x245 mm, based on the top-tier Intel Z890 chipset and LGA1851 socket. Built for Intel Core Ultra processors, it offers four M.2 slots, a rich USB layout and high-capacity DDR5 memory as a comprehensive performance platform.

Platform & chipset

The board is based on the Intel Z890 chipset on the LGA1851 socket and supports Core Ultra processors. Extra features include a CLR_CMOS button for a quick reset, Debug LEDs for diagnostics and Resizable BAR support, plus the Maxsun Sync software for lighting control.

Memory & expansion

The board includes four DDR5 slots supporting up to 256GB at speeds up to 8600MHz in OC mode. Expansion offers a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots, alongside four M.2 connectors in PCIe 5.0 / 4.0, four SATA 6Gb/s ports and an SFF-8654 4i interface for extensive storage.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Connectivity is rich: a 2.5Gb Ethernet port and a dedicated M.2 slot for a Wi-Fi card, a USB Type-C port at 40Gbps, two USB 10Gbps ports, four USB 5Gbps ports and two USB 2.0 ports. For display there are HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs (4K @ 60Hz support), and audio uses a Realtek ALC897 controller with 6 connectors and an SPDIF output.
