AMD EPYC 9965 Server Processor

The AMD EPYC 9965 is the top model of the EPYC 9005 series (5th generation EPYC), with 192 Zen 5c cores and 384 threads, a 2.25GHz base clock, boost up to 3.7GHz and 384MB of L3 cache. It is designed for SP5 servers in single or dual socket configurations.

The processor supports 12 channels of DDR5 at up to 6400 MT/s, up to 614GB/s of memory bandwidth per socket and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes. Default TDP is 500W, configurable between 450W and 500W. AMD targets it at workloads such as high-density virtualization, cloud, HPC, analytics and web serving.
