Intel Xeon Gold 6240 Processor

The Intel Xeon Gold 6240 is a 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable server processor (former codename Cascade Lake) made on the 14nm process for the FCLGA3647 socket. It has 18 cores and 36 threads, a 2.60GHz base clock, up to 3.90GHz Turbo, 24.75MB of cache and a 150W TDP.

It supports six-channel DDR4-2933 ECC memory up to 1TB, Intel Optane Persistent Memory and 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and suits two- to four-socket servers for virtualization, databases and heavy computing. This is the tray version: the processor only, without a retail box or cooler.
