The Intel Xeon Silver 4208 is a 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable server processor (former codename Cascade Lake) made on the 14nm process for the FCLGA3647 socket. It has 8 cores and 16 threads, a 2.10GHz base clock, up to 3.20GHz Turbo, 11MB of cache and a 85W TDP.

It supports six-channel DDR4-2400 ECC memory up to 1TB and 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and suits entry-level single and dual-socket servers such as file servers, mail servers and light virtualization at low power draw. This is the tray version: the processor only, without a retail box or cooler.
