SSD External Disk iStorage diskAshur2 128GB black IS-DA2-256-SSD-128-B

iStorage diskAshur2 128GB, Black Encrypted External SSD

The iStorage diskAshur2 is a portable encrypted SSD that unlocks with a 7 to 15 digit PIN typed on the keypad built into the drive. No software or driver is needed, so it works on any operating system: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, thin clients, zero clients and embedded systems.

All data is encrypted in real time with AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, and a dedicated Common Criteria EAL5+ secure microprocessor protects against physical tampering and attacks. The 128GB model comes with an integrated USB 3.2 cable.

Key features

• AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption - Data is encrypted in real time across the entire drive with no slowdown. The encryption algorithm is validated to FIPS PUB 197.
• PIN code and built-in keypad - Unlock the drive with a 7 to 15 digit PIN, with no software. Independent admin and user PINs are supported, and the drive locks automatically when unplugged or after a preset time.
• Brute force defence - After 15 consecutive wrong PIN entries the drive assumes an attack, deletes the encryption key and locks itself, making the stored data permanently unrecoverable. You can also set a self-destruct PIN that instantly deletes the key, the PINs and the data.
• Read-only and read/write modes - The drive can be set to read-only (write protect) or read/write mode, for example when connecting it to an unfamiliar computer.
• Rugged and portable - IP56 rating for dust and water resistance, an integrated USB 3.2 cable and a wear-resistant epoxy-coated keypad. Measures 124 x 84 x 19mm and weighs about 180g.
• Performance - USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gb/s), read speeds up to 362MB/s and write speeds up to 358MB/s.
