iStorage datAshur PRO2 128GB Encrypted USB Flash Drive

The iStorage datAshur PRO2 is an encrypted USB flash drive that protects data with a PIN typed on the keypad built into the drive itself, with no software or drivers to install. This 128GB model encrypts all data with full-disk AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated and is built around a secure microprocessor with Common Criteria EAL5+ certification.

It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A with read speeds of up to 168MB/s and write speeds of up to 128MB/s. The drive works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and Chrome, and its aluminium IP68 body resists dust and water for everyday carrying.

Key features

• Full hardware encryption - All data is written with AES-XTS 256-bit encryption performed in the drive's own hardware, independent of the host computer's operating system.
• PIN authentication - A 7 to 15 digit admin PIN is entered on the keypad on the drive. Admin, user and one-time recovery PINs are supported, each with its own attempt counter.
• Brute-force protection - After 10 wrong admin or user PIN attempts, or 5 wrong recovery PIN attempts, the drive resets and erases the PINs, the encryption key and the data.
• Certifications and secure chip - FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validation and a Common Criteria EAL5+ (hardware certified) secure microprocessor give a level of security suited to organizations and public bodies.
• Dust and water resistance - The IP68 rating lets the drive survive submersion under 1.5 m of water for 30 minutes. An aluminium sleeve protects the drive.
• Broad compatibility and flexibility - Works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome, Android, Citrix and VMware without installing software. A read-only mode can be set, and the drive can be configured as a bootable device.
