Internal Hard Drive Seagate Skyhawk AI SkyHawk AI 20TB ST20000VE002 3.5" 20TB

Seagate SkyHawk AI 20TB Internal Hard Drive

The Seagate SkyHawk AI is a hard drive for network video recorders (NVR) that run AI video analytics at the edge. The 20TB model is built for continuous operation and supports up to 64 HD cameras and 32 AI streams.

The drive uses ImagePerfect AI firmware designed to prevent dropped frames, a helium-sealed design and CMR recording technology. Rotational vibration (RV) sensors keep performance stable in multi-drive systems, and the number of supported bays is not limited.

Key features

• Built for video and AI - ImagePerfect AI firmware delivers recording without dropped frames even under heavy workloads, and supports up to 64 HD video streams and up to 32 AI streams at the same time.
• High workload rating - The drive is rated for 550TB per year, more than 3 times the rate of standard surveillance drives, and is designed for continuous operation in NVR systems.
• Stable in multi-drive systems - RV sensors maintain consistent performance when many drives work together, and RAID RapidRebuild speeds up volume rebuilds by up to 3 times.
• Drive health management - SkyHawk Health Management helps protect your video storage through prevention, intervention and recovery options.
• 20TB over SATA - SATA 6Gb/s interface, a 256MB cache and transfer rates of up to 285MB/s in a standard 3.5-inch form factor.
