Internal Hard Drive Toshiba S300 Pro 10TB MD10ADA10TV 3.5" 10TB

Toshiba S300 Pro 10TB Internal Hard Drive

The Toshiba S300 Pro MD10ADA10TV is a 3.5" 10TB internal hard drive designed and tested for continuous 24/7 video recording in security systems: DVR and NVR recorders, hybrid recorders and RAID storage arrays for surveillance. It supports up to 64 high-resolution cameras and systems with up to 24 drive bays, keeping a long recording history with object identification and face recognition.

The drive spins at 7200RPM with a 512MB buffer, Dynamic Cache Technology and a sustained transfer rate of up to 281MB/s. Rotational vibration (RV) sensors and a shock sensor maintain performance in multi-drive systems, while a 300TB per year workload rating and 1.2 million hours MTTF suit non-stop operation.

Key features

• Built for surveillance - Designed for DVR and NVR recorders, hybrid (analog and IP) recorders and RAID arrays for surveillance, running 24/7.
• Up to 64 cameras - Tested to support up to 64 high-resolution cameras and systems with up to 24 bays, for recording without dropped frames.
• High performance - 7200RPM, a 512MB buffer and Dynamic Cache Technology, with a sustained transfer rate of up to 281MB/s.
• RV and shock sensors - Rotational vibration sensors and a shock sensor counter vibration in multi-bay systems and keep performance stable.
• Reliability for nonstop work - 300TB per year workload, 1.2 million hours MTTF and 600,000 load/unload cycles.
• CMR recording - The drive uses conventional magnetic recording (CMR), well suited to continuous video writing.
