Corsair MP700 PRO SE with Air Cooler SSD

The Corsair MP700 PRO SE is an M.2 2280 SSD with a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and the NVMe 2.0 protocol, built on a Phison E26 controller and high-density 3D TLC NAND. At 2TB it reaches sequential reads of up to 14,000MB/s and writes of up to 12,000MB/s, nearly double the speed of PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

This version comes with an air cooler that includes a small fan, keeping temperatures low and performance steady under long workloads. It suits gaming PCs and workstations with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and supports Microsoft DirectStorage.

Key features

• PCIe 5.0 performance - Sequential reads of up to 14,000MB/s and writes of up to 12,000MB/s, with random performance of up to 1,700K IOPS read and 1,600K IOPS write. Corsair rates it at nearly double PCIe 4.0 SSDs and up to 25 times some SATA SSDs.
• Included active air cooler - The heatsink and fan protect the drive from thermal throttling under sustained loads. The fan is powered from a SATA power connector and runs at a fixed speed, so it does not take up a motherboard fan header.
• Phison E26 with DRAM - A Phison PS5026-E26 controller with a 4GB DRAM cache and high-density 3D TLC NAND delivers consistent performance and an endurance of 1,400TB written (TBW).
• Microsoft DirectStorage - In supported games the drive sends data directly to the graphics card for shorter load times. Requires a DirectX 12 GPU with Shader Model 6.0 support.
• Compatibility and installation - The M.2 2280 drive fits PCIe 5.0 slots on select Intel Z690, Z790 and AMD 600 series motherboards. In a PCIe 4.0 slot it runs at lower speeds.
• Management and security - AES 256-bit hardware encryption and CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software for drive health monitoring and firmware updates.
