SSD Disk Kingston A400 960GB 2.5" SATA III

The Kingston A400 960GB is a 2.5-inch, 7 mm SSD with a SATA Rev. 3.0 (6Gb/s) interface, backward compatible with SATA 2.0. A latest-generation controller delivers reads of up to 500MB/s and writes of up to 450MB/s, so the system boots fast, applications load almost instantly and file transfers take far less time.

It is the simplest way to bring an older laptop or desktop back to life: replace the mechanical hard drive with a drive Kingston rates as 10x faster, and with 960GB there is room for applications, videos, photos and documents without giving up files.

The A400 is built with flash memory and has no moving parts, so it is quieter, cooler and more reliable than a hard drive, and it resists shock and vibration, a real benefit in notebooks. It is rated for 300TB written and 1 million hours MTBF.
