iStorage datAshur PRO 8GB Encrypted USB Flash Drive

The iStorage datAshur PRO is a hardware-encrypted USB flash drive that is unlocked with a PIN typed on a physical keypad built into the drive. The 8GB model is meant for storing and carrying sensitive files without installing any software on the computer.

The drive is wrapped in an aluminium sleeve and is dust and water resistant to IP57. It holds FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification and works with Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android.

Key features

• AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption - All data is protected with full-disk hardware encryption using 256-bit keys. Encryption happens inside the drive and does not depend on the host computer.
• PIN unlock - A 7 to 15 digit PIN is typed on the keypad of the drive itself, so it never passes through the computer. Separate User and Admin PINs are available.
• Brute-force protection - After 10 consecutive wrong entries the User PIN is deleted, and 10 wrong Admin PIN entries reset the drive and erase the data. The components are covered in epoxy and the keypad is wear resistant.
• Dust and water resistant - IP57 rating and an aluminium body with a protective sleeve. The drive locks automatically when it is unplugged or after a set time of 1 to 99 minutes.
• Certifications and read-only mode - FIPS 140-2 Level 3 (certificate 2688), NLNCSA DEP-V and NATO Restricted level. A read-only mode can be configured and the drive is bootable.
• Works without software - Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android, and with any device that has a USB port, such as printers, scanners and CCTV cameras, with no software to install.
