PCI Network Card D-Link DGE-528T

D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit PCI Network Adapter

The D-Link DGE-528T is a PCI network card that adds a Gigabit Ethernet port to a desktop PC. It is a simple upgrade for a computer with a slow or faulty network card, delivering up to 1000Mbps (2000Mbps in full duplex) over existing Cat 5 cabling, with no need to replace the network infrastructure.

The card auto-detects 10, 100 or 1000Mbps and half or full duplex, and supports 802.1Q VLAN, 802.1p priority queues, 802.3x flow control and Wake-on-LAN. A low-profile bracket is included for slim cases, and the card is supported by many operating systems, including Windows 10 and Linux.

Key features

• Gigabit in a PCI slot - An RJ45 port at 10/100/1000Mbps with automatic speed and duplex detection over a PCI 2.3 interface.
• Works with existing cabling - Gigabit speed over Cat 5 UTP cable up to 100 m, with no need to rewire the network.
• VLAN and traffic priority - IEEE 802.1Q tagged frame filtering and 802.1p priority queues for networks with a managed switch.
• Flow control - IEEE 802.3x flow control and an independent FIFO queue reduce packet loss under heavy load.
• Wake-on-LAN - Power on the computer remotely over the network for easier workstation management.
• Low-profile bracket - An extra low-profile bracket is included for installation in slim cases.
