D-Link VPN upgrade for DWC-1000 License

The DWC-1000-VPN-LIC is a D-Link upgrade license that lets the DWC-1000 wireless controller also work as a VPN router and firewall.

According to D-Link it works only with the DWC-1000 and cannot be activated on any other model.

Key features

• VPN, router and firewall - The license enables VPN, routing and firewall functions on the DWC-1000, so it can be connected directly to the Internet at a branch.
• Site-to-site tunnels - Branch offices can be linked through site-to-site tunnels using IPsec, PPTP or L2TP.
• Remote access with SSL VPN - Mobile users can connect to corporate data at the central office through SSL VPN.
• Firewall policies and link backup - The firewall controls network access with classification policies, and two option ports provide link failover and Internet redundancy.
