PCI-E Network Card Broadcom NetXtreme-E P225p

Broadcom NetXtreme-E P225p Dual-Port 25GbE Network Card

The Broadcom NetXtreme-E P225p (BCM957414A4142CC) is a dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet card for servers in data centers and cloud environments. It is built on the BCM57414 Ethernet controller with an integrated dual-channel SFI transceiver and connects through PCI Express 3.0 x8.

Each port takes a 25G SFP28 optical module, a 10G SFP+ module or a copper direct-attach cable. The card supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), SR-IOV with up to 128 virtual functions, vSwitch acceleration and VXLAN, NVGRE and Geneve tunneling, and fits both full-height and low-profile brackets.

Key features

• Two 25GbE ports - SFP28 ports that run at 25GbE, 10GbE or 1GbE with optical modules or copper direct-attach cables.
• Broadcom BCM57414 controller - A 25GbE controller with an integrated dual SFI transceiver and the TruFlow flow processing engine for virtual switch acceleration.
• RoCE and DCB - RDMA over Converged Ethernet and DCB (PFC, ETS, QCN, DCBx) for storage traffic and high-performance computing.
• Virtualization and tunneling - SR-IOV with up to 128 VFs, NetQueue and VMQ, plus VXLAN, NVGRE, Geneve and GRE tunneling with tunnel-aware stateless offloads.
• CPU offload - LSO, LRO, TSO, RSS and TSS, TCP, UDP and IP checksum offload and jumbo frames up to 9KB.
• Network boot - PXE, UEFI and iSCSI boot support.
